The Tour de France Automobile of 1964 took place in September and was held in France and Italy. Belgian driver team Lucien Bianchi and Georges Berger entered the race with 116 other competitors and piloted a Ferrari GTO with starting number 172. It was grueling endurance race that took place over the course of 9 days, yet like so many times before, the 250 GTO overtook the lead and Lucian Bianchi and Georges Berger secured the victory and the overall first pace for the GT class.
